At Todaywise (operated as a Sole Proprietorship from Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh - 522020, India), we want to make our cancellation process clear and transparent. This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your subscription and what happens after cancellation.
1. Cancellation Policy Overview
Important: When you cancel your subscription, you will NOT receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription period. However, you will continue to have full access to all Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
This means:
- You can use all Pro features until your subscription expires
- No partial refunds are provided for early cancellation
- Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
Open App Settings
Launch the Todaywise app and navigate to Settings > Subscription or Account section.
Select Cancel Subscription
Tap on "Cancel Subscription" or "Manage Subscription" button.
Confirm Cancellation
Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation. You'll see the date when your Pro access will end.
Continue Using Until Expiry
Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
3. Alternative Cancellation Methods
If you cannot cancel through the app, you can also cancel by:
- Email Request: Send a cancellation request to support@todaywise.app from your registered email address. Include your account email and reason for cancellation.
- Payment Platform: If you subscribed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, you can also cancel directly through those platforms.
4. What Happens After Cancellation
4.1 During Remaining Subscription Period
- Full access to all Pro features continues
- AI suggestions remain active
- Advanced analytics are accessible
- Smart reminders continue to function
- Cloud sync remains active
4.2 After Subscription Expires
- Account reverts to Free tier automatically
- Your data is preserved and accessible
- Basic task management remains available
- Pro features become inaccessible (AI suggestions, advanced analytics)
- You can resubscribe anytime to restore Pro access
5. Cancellation by Platform
5.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancellation effective at the end of current monthly billing cycle
- No refund for partial month
- Example: If you cancel on the 15th and your billing date is the 1st, you keep Pro access until the 1st of next month
5.2 Annual Subscriptions
- Cancellation effective at the end of current annual billing cycle
- No refund for partial year
- Example: If you cancel 6 months into your annual subscription, you keep Pro access for the remaining 6 months
6. No-Refund Policy on Cancellation
No Refunds for Cancellations: When you cancel your subscription, you acknowledge and agree that you will not receive a refund, either full or partial, for any unused portion of your subscription period. This is a standard practice for digital subscription services.
However, if you believe you have exceptional circumstances, you may submit a refund request separately under our Refund Policy. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and approval is at our sole discretion.
7. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation Timing
To avoid being charged for the next billing period:
- Monthly subscriptions: Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date
- Annual subscriptions: Cancel at least 24 hours before your annual renewal date
- If you cancel after the renewal has been processed, the cancellation applies to the next billing cycle
8. Reactivating Your Subscription
You can resubscribe to Todaywise Pro at any time:
- All your data and settings are preserved
- Immediate restoration of Pro features upon payment
- New billing cycle starts from the date of reactivation
9. Special Circumstances
9.1 Technical Issues
If you are canceling due to technical issues preventing you from using the service, please contact our support team first. We will attempt to resolve the issue within 5 business days.
9.2 Fraudulent Charges
If you believe your subscription was purchased fraudulently without your authorization, contact us immediately at support@todaywise.app. We will investigate and may issue a refund if the claim is verified.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be:
- Posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
- Communicated via email for significant changes
- Notified through in-app announcements
Changes will not apply retroactively to subscriptions purchased before the policy update.
